Often we let life get in the way of everything we do. We get on a roll in life and just run with it. We fail to stop, look around, and enjoy everything that is around us. Rushing through everything, we make the mistake of not realizing that we are out running the very blessings we were originally hoping for.

All through out time, man has written love letters. We are always trying to tell those we love, just how much we truly care. Still, as much as everyone loves a good love story, it seems that our world has all but forgotten the best love story of all. Over two thousand years ago, when the best love letter was written, when the greatest love story was told…and today we have all but forgotten it.

It’s been nearly 14 years since the day that changed it all for me. The week before April 5 is always the same for me, a bitter sweet week. I spend the week looking back, remembering everything that I went through and where I am today. Here is a rare look inside “the Xtreme 1”…an Xtreme look inside, 14 years later.

There is a common epidemic sweeping our world, one that is effecting “Christians” everywhere. Somewhere between the time that Jesus walked this earth, to today, we “Christians” have changed…and not for the better. While it’s true that we have never been “popular” among the world, but things have changed in the world’s eyes about us. Our image, our reputation, our reach into the world…all have been all but lost.
