Rev. Antony Bogdon, also know as "the Xtreme 1", has been preaching since 1999. Over the past 12 years he has preached to nearly every denomination, lead church services, preached youth lock-ins, concerts, schools, and revivals. His apologetical approach to ministry, and preaching, has taken him to places that few ministers would go, and has allowed him to speak and witness to those that the church tends to shun.
Antony was ordained in 2010, and again in 2011. He has strived to show people that despite our looks or our past God still loves us and wants to use us. "If we have all fallen short of His glory, then who are we to decide who can and cannot come before His thrown? Who are we to push people away because they may look or live different than us," has been his motto for the past decade. His tattooes, piercings, chains and spikes have allowed him to walk in a world that many don't see, and even less wish to go.
TX1 has a passion for a dieing generation and strives to show them that there is a "Truth" to this life that many won't tell them about. A "Truth" that can and will change lives and lead to a better life. That "Truth" has lead him to the gang filled streets of Chicago, down to the satanic filled streets of New Orleans, and back home to the Bible bealt.
"In my 12 years of ministry I've seen the good and the bad of the church. I've seen my fellow Gen-Xer's stray from God simply because the church pushed them away. The world has enough preachers for the 'Holy Rollers,' but what about those that we in the church have forgotten? If no one is willing to go back, against the grain and swim upstream for them, what will happen to them? I don't know about everyone else but I cannot, and will not, sit idly by and watch as they are sentenced to an eternity of suffering. If just one person would show them the "Truth" it could and would change their life. How can we call ourselves 'Christians' when we don't show Christ's love? The "Truth" is that Jesus is the only hope for this dieing generation, and unless we take Christ to them they will never know Him and a whole generation will be lost."
